FAQs
What should I wear and bring?
Please wear comfortable activewear suitable for movement. Layers are recommended so you can regulate your temperature throughout the day.
To protect our apparatus and mats, please ensure clothing does not contain zips, buttons or metal fastenings.
You may also wish to bring:
- A water bottle
- A notebook and pen
- A tablet for note-taking
A water fountain is available on site.
What should I bring?
You should wear comfortable activewear suitable for movement. To enable you to regulate your temperature, we recommend you wear layers. To protect our apparatus and mats during practical demonstrations, please ensure your leggings or tops have no zips, buttons, or metal clasps. Many students find it helpful to have a small notebook or a tablet to jot down information. Finally, we have a water fountain, however you may wish to bring your own bottle with you.
Is there parking on site?
Yes, there is free parking on site.
Is practical participation compulsory?
No. Practical participation is voluntary.
Participants are responsible for working within their own physical limits and are encouraged to make choices that feel appropriate for their individual circumstances.
Can I attend if I have an injury or health condition?
Yes. Many workshops include practical movement participation; however, participation is always voluntary.
We ask participants to inform us of any injuries, medical conditions or accessibility requirements before attending so we can help create a safe and supportive learning experience.
Is the training centre wheelchair accessible?
Yes. Our venue provides step-free access and accessible toilet facilities.
If you have specific mobility requirements, please let us know in advance so we can ensure appropriate arrangements are in place for your visit.
What support is available for participants with disabilities or additional learning needs?
We are committed to creating an inclusive and accessible learning environment.
We work with participants to provide reasonable adjustments wherever possible to support learning, participation and assessment. This may include adjustments relating to physical access, learning materials or assessment methods.
If you have any accessibility requirements, we encourage you to discuss them with us before attending.
Can course materials be provided in alternative formats?
Where possible, we will work with participants to provide learning materials in accessible formats to support individual needs.
If you require materials in a particular format, please contact us in advance so we can discuss how best to support you.
Can I get a refund if I can no longer attend?
Cancellation requests are subject to our Booking Terms and Conditions.
- More than 14 days before the workshop, course or masterclass: bookings may be transferred or refunded, less any applicable administration fee.
- Less than 14 days before the event: bookings are non-refundable.
What happens if Pilates Training Centre cancels an event?
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel or reschedule a workshop, course or masterclass, participants will be offered either:
- A place on an alternative date
- A full refund
Will photographs or videos be taken during workshops?
Photography or video may occasionally be taken for educational or promotional purposes.
Participants will always have the option to opt out and can notify us at any time if they do not wish to appear in photographs or recordings.
How is my personal information stored?
All personal information is handled confidentially, stored securely and processed in accordance with UK GDPR and applicable data protection regulations.
